Polignano a Mare and Monopoli

Our diving tour offers a fully-equipped and safe diving adventure. You will be given an opportunity to explore the shipwreck and marine life found in Polignano's unique coastline.


Licensed scuba divers can choose from a variety of excursions such as seawrecks, grottoes and shallows. We offer ARA, NITROX and TRIMIX recharges, gear diving rental and sales, customer care, repairs and oxygen tanks tests.

ANIS/TDI/PHOTOSUB School offers both recreational and technical courses all year round. The Centre has a gear rinse area, toilets and showers. The Centro Tecnico della Subacquea (Diving Technical Centre) also has sporting goods available for purchase.

Diving possibilities are varied both for beginners and professionals:

Torre Incine marks the beginning of the Polignano a Mare territory. It is a typical fisherman's creek and a destination for many scuba divers. Towards the exit of the creek at a depth of 14 metres you can find a statue of the Madonna that was placed there by a club of diving devotees.

Grotta dei Colombi (Pigeons Grotto) the collapse of the vault's central part created a natural arch offering the possibility of joining two activities to speleo-scuba diving devotees.

Portalga in this little inlet there is a wonderful submerged world with Axinellae, Gorgonacea and Hippocampus at a depth of 20 metres.

Isolotto S. Paolo (S. Paolo oxbow) better known as "Scoglio dell'Eremita" ("Hermit's Rock"), at the top of which there are the ruins of a chapel dedicated to S. Antonio Abbate (1612) and used as a lazaret during 1837. The four sides of the oxbow give the possibility of various divings up to the depth of 25 metres.

A submarine passage exists near Bastione S. Stefano (S. Stefano Bastion) ending at Lama Monachile where the ancient port of Cala Porto. The bridge built by King Murat (beginning of XIX century) overlooks the inlet.
